Chemical Health Services

Offering assistance for people, of all ages, experiencing substance use related problems

 

Anyone may request and receive a Chemical Health Assessment. To receive funding from the Consolidated Chemical Dependency Treatment Fund (CCDTF), you must have an assessment and meet the Rule 25 criteria. You have a right to a second assessment if you disagree with the assessment or choice of treatment services.

  • Chemical Health Assessment
  • Assistance finding a provider of services including
    • Outpatient treatment
    • Extended in-patient treatment
    • Halfway house
  • Determine eligibility for CCDTF
  • Case management
  • Detoxification services
  • Aftercare programs
  • Local resources
  • Pre-petition screening for civil commitment

 

Eligibility:

  • Persons who live in Yellow Medicine County
  • Persons who do not have private medical insurance
  • Private medical insurance does not cover chemical health services
  • Persons who meet the eligibility requirements for CCDTF

 

Rule 25 Chemical Health Assessments

“Rule 25” refers to Minnesota Rules, parts 9530.6600 to 9530.6655, which establishes the criteria for determining the appropriate levels of chemical dependency care for public assistance recipients.

 

Pre-Petition Screening

Team consultation for determining level of chemical use severity and assessing danger to self or others; as it pertains to individuals being petitioned for civil court commitment.
